லண்டன்: இங்கிலாந்தைச் சேர்ந்த மூன்று பள்ளிமாணவர்கள் ஒரு வித்தியாசமானதொரு முயற்சியில் இறங்கியிருக்கிறார்கள். உடலுறவில் ஈடுபடுபவர்களுக்கு பால்வினை நோய் இருந்தால் அதைஉடனடியாகக் கண்டுபிடித்து எச்சரிக்கும் ஆணுறைகளை உருவாக்குவதில் இவர்கள் தீவிரமாக ஈடுபட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

தமது வித்தியாசமான இந்த முயற்சிக்காக இவர்கள் மூவரும் தொழில்நுட்பத்துறையில் இளம்தலைமுறையினருக்கான பரிசையும் வென்றிருக்கிறாரகள். இவர்கள் தங்களது இந்த கண்டுபிடிப்புக்கு S.T.Eye என்று ஆங்கிலத்தில் சுருக்கமாக பெயரிட்டுள்ளனர். அதாவது பால்வினை நோய்களை கண்டறியும் கண் என்பது அதன் பொருள்.

உடலுறவில் ஈடுபடும் இருவரில் யாருக்கேனும் பால்வினை நோய்த்தொற்று இருந்தால் இந்த ஆணுறை உடனே நிறம் மாறிவிடும். அதுவும் பால்வினை நோய்க்கேற்ப ஆணுறையின் நிறமாற்றம் நிகழும்படி இந்த ஆணுறைகளை உருவாக்க விரும்புவதாக இவர்கள் தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

இந்த ஆணுறைகள் எப்படி நிறம் மாறுகின்றன?

சிராக், தாண்யால் மற்றும் முவாஸ் ஆகிய மூன்று மாணவர்களும் 11-வயது முதல் 16 வயது வரையிலான மாணவர்களுக்கு நடந்த பள்ளியின் போட்டியில் கலந்துகொண்டனர். TeenTech awards என்று ஆங்கிலத்தில் பெயரிடப்பட்ட இந்த போட்டியில், நிஜ வாழ்வின் பிரச்சனைகளுக்கு தொழில்நுட்பத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தித் தீர்வு காண்தற்கான யோசனைகளை மாணவர்கள் முன்வைக்க வேண்டும். சுகாதாரப்பிரிவில் இவர்களின் யோசனை பரிசுக்கு தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டு இவர்களின் பள்ளிக்கு 1000 பிரிட்டிஷ் ஸ்டெர்லிங் பவுண்ட்கள் பரிசுத்தொகையாக அளிக்கப்பட்டது. “இந்த போட்டிக்கு நாங்கள் என்ன செய்யலாம் என்பது குறித்து இணையத்தில் தேடிக்கொண்டிருந்தோம். அப்போது இணையத்தில் தகவலைப் பரிமாறுவதற்கான ரெட்டிட் சமூக வலைத்தளத்தில் வந்த ஒரு தகவலைப்பார்த்தோம்.
